BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - After a promising season opener against Aurora University Wednesday, Feb. 28, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team travels to Verona, Wis., to take on Edgewood College Saturday, March 2. Action is set to begin at 1 p.m. on the Edgewood College Field at Reddan Park.

Britney Maldonado (Hoffman Estates, Ill.-Conant) put on an offensive show, finishing with nine points on three goals and three assists, as all three of her shots in the game found the back of the net. Junior
Mia Fiandaca (St. Charles, Ill.-St. Charles North) was electric with six goals, along with a career-best 14 draw controls, just one shy of tying the program's single-game record. Her seven caused turnovers was the most ever recorded by a Titan in a game.

Bri Kiser (Crown Point, Ind.-Crown Point) logged all 60 minutes between the posts for the Green and White, recording seven saves and three ground balls.
