BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swim and dive teams are set to take on two duels in Fort Natatorium. IWU takes on Depauw Friday, Nov. 8, and then continues into the weekend taking on College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Augustana College Saturday, Nov. 9. Friday's meet is set to start at 6 p.m. and Saturday's meet sees a 1 p.m. start time.

DePauw and IWU's history dates back to the 2008-09 season, where the Tigers take the overall record of 4-0 for the men and a 3-1 record over the women. The last time the teams saw each other was over 10 years ago during the 2012-13 season.

Augustana, however, just saw IWU two weekend's prior when the Vikings competed in the Halloween Invite Saturday, Oct. 26. IWU placed second on both sides while Augie took first place for both the men and the women. Dating back only five seasons, the Vikings overpower the Titans with a 4-0 overall record for each team.

At the Halloween Invite, junior Natalie Porter (Danville, Ill.-Danville) took fourth place in the women's 500-yard freestyle clocking in with a time of 5:36.72. Another to note was freshman Jacob Nacional (Bolingbrook, Ill.-Bolingbrook) who took third place in the men's 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:09.68. Freshman diver David Ren (Chicago, Ill.-Hinsdale Central) finished first in the men's 1-meter dive scoring 145.55 to add seven points for the Titans.
