GREENWOOD, Ind. –
The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer duo of juniors Maya Flemming (Crystal Lake, Ill.-Prairie Ridge) and Jenna Gravitt (Morton, Ill.-Morton) were recognized as College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees Tuesday, Nov. 19. Both earn the distinction for the first time in their careers.

The CSC Academic All-District Teams honor the nation's top student-athletes for their combined excellence athletically and academically. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 and compete in at least 90 percent, or start in at least 66 percent, of the team's matches.

Flemming, a pre-medicine and biochemistry major with a 3.73 GPA, established herself as a regular starter for IWU during the 2024 campaign as a defender. Flemming played in 17 of the Titans' 18 games while starting in 14. The junior set a career-high of two goals against Monmouth, Sept. 21, including the game-winner. Flemming was named a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Academic All-Conference honoree a season ago.

Gravitt is a computer science major boasting a 3.92 GPA. The junior midfielder played in 16 of the Titans' 18 games this season. Gravitt scored her first goal donning the Green and White against Monmouth, Sept. 21, after transferring to IWU ahead of her sophomore year.
