Women’s Soccer Puts Six on CSC Academic All-District Team

Gravitt earns second award in-a-row

. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team added six names to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District list of honorees, released Tuesday, Nov. 25. Sophomore Vanessa Gray (Burlington, Ontario, Canada-Dr. Frank J. Hayden), sophomore Keira Robinson (Bloomington, Ind.-Bloomington North), sophomore Ellen Dahlquist (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame), junior Ava Mapes (Golden, Colo.-Lakewood), and senior Kayley Carew (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) all earn the distinction for the first time in their careers, while senior Jenna Gravitt (Morton, Ill.-Morton) earns the honor for the second consecutive season. With its six awardees, IWU ties for the most selections in the nation.


The CSC Academic All-District Teams honor the nation's top student-athletes for their combined excellence athletically and academically. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 and compete in at least 90 percent, or start in at least 66 percent, of the team's matches. 

Gray was the Titans starting goalkeeper for the majority of the 2025 season. In her first season between the pipes, Gray recorded five shutouts and totaled 79 saves. A political science major sporting a 4.0 GPA, Gray earns CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career. 

Robinson, a biochemistry major with a 4.0 GPA, was a crucial piece to the Titan offense this season. Robinson bagged two braces in back-to-back contests this season, finishing the 2025 campaign with 15 points, on seven goals and an assist. 

Gravitt is a computer science major with a 3.92 GPA. She is IWU's only repeat honoree, having earned CSC Academic All-District team last season. Gravitt appeared in all of the Titans 19 games, posting four assists and two goals on the season. 

Dahlquist, an elementary education major with a 3.83 GPA, served as a co-captain as a sophomore on the Titan squad. Dahlquist has started every game in her career as a key midfielder. She finished the season with two goals and four assists, good for eight points. 

Mapes, a Second Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin awardee this season, is a neuroscience major with a 3.63 GPA. Mapes recorded five total goals this season, four of which came in league play. Mapes was top-five individually in conference play in goals and points. 

Carew, a biology major with a 3.62 GPA, started all 19 games for the Titans this season. Carew was second on the team with six assists and was a steadfast midfielder for IWU, which had its best season in two years. 

The Green and White's season came to a close with a 9-7-3 overall record. The Titans posted their most wins since the 2022 season and saw three named to the All-CCIW teams before seeing the season come to a close in the CCIW Tournament quarterfinals.
