Women’s Volleyball’s NCAA Journey Begins at Marietta

Titans to face Franklin & Marshall

INDIANAPOLIS - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team learned its NCAA Division III Tournament path Monday, Nov. 18, as the full 64-team bracket was unveiled. IWU will travel to the campus of Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio to take on Franklin & Marshall in the first round at Ban Johnson Arena Thursday, Nov. 21.

Illinois Wesleyan and Franklin & Marshall will square off in a 4:30 p.m. ET first serve. No. 5 UW-Oshkosh, No. 8 Marietta, Marymount (Va.), No. 20 Chicago, Centre, and St. John Fisher round out the eight-team pod. A full bracket can be found here.

The Titans will make their first national tournament appearance since 2021 and the eighth in program history this week after claiming the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament title. IWU downed 10th-ranked Millikin University in five sets, defeating the Big Blue for the second time this season. 

The winner of this week's eight-team pod will advance to the final site of the NCAA Division III Womens' Volleyball Championship at the Cregger Center in Salem, Va. The final rounds will be played Dec. 4-7, with the national championship match slated for 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.
