BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -
For the sixth straight week, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's basketball team is ranked in the D3hoops.com Top-25 poll, checking in at No. 11. IWU received 345 points in the rankings.

Illinois Wesleyan holds a 15-3 overall record, and 8-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, with all three setbacks coming to ranked opposition.

The Titans posted a 1-1 record last week in a pair of games against nationally-ranked competition. Illinois Wesleyan dropped a tight affair with Millikin, 93-91, Wednesday night, Jan. 17, but bounced back with a 72-68 win at Carroll Saturday, Jan. 20.

Leading the poll at 16-0 with 20 first-place votes and 620 points is NYU. Transylvania is second with four first-place nods and 586 points, while Rhode Island College (577) rounds out the top-three. IWU is one of three CCIW schools in the top-25, with Millikin and Carroll both moving up one spot from a week ago. The Big Blue are 16th currently, while the Pios are 24th.

Illinois Wesleyan returns to action Wednesday night, Jan. 24, with a road bout at No. 16 Millikin. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. inside MU's Griswold Center.
