Swim & Dive Back in Action to Start the New Year

Men travel to Wabash before clash with Rose-Hulman

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's swimming and diving team will kick off the new year traveling to Crawfordsville, Ind. to compete against the Little Giants of Wabash College. The Titans and the Little Giants battle on Jan. 12 with the first event starting at 6:30 p.m. ET. The Titans men's and women's team then take on the Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers on Saturday, Jan. 13 and will start at 1 p.m. CST. 

The Titans last competition was back in early December at the Carthage Classic. It was a three day event that the Titans placed 5th on both sides, respectively. 

The men have seen Wabash a total of 12 times dating back to 2011. The Titans are 0-12 against the Little Giants searching for their first win. The last time the Green and White met with Wabash was January 13, 2023 where the Little Giants bested the Titans 142-78. 

On Saturday, the Titans host Rose-Hulman. The two teams have met 12 times on the women's side and 11 on the men's side with their first meeting dating back to 2008. In their last meet, the women bested the Fightin' Engineers 175-107 whereas the men lost to RHIT 210.5-65.5.
