Titans Close Out Fall Slate at ITA Regional

Vigneri falls in round of 32

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team completed its time at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Saturday, Sept. 30.

Playing in the round of 32, sophomore Ben Vigneri (Casper, Wyo.-Phillips Exeter Academy) battled Principia's Ernesto Botero-Diaz. He won the opening set 6-1. Vigneri was upended from there, falling 7-5, 10-6 in a tight back-and-forth affair.

The event marked the end of the fall season for the Titans, who will resume action in the spring.
