BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - After five straight road matches, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team will play on its home turf Friday, March 31, as the Titans (3-7) host the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Action is set to begin at 5 p.m. inside Tucci Stadium.

IWU enters the match off a 26-7 loss to the College of Wooster Saturday, March 25. Junior Britney Maldonado (Hoffman Estates, Ill.-James B. Conant) and sophomore Mia Fiandaca (St. Charles, Ill.-St. Charles North) each recorded three goals in the match.

Fiandaca leads the Titans with 20 goals and 24 points through the first 10 games of the season. Over the past two games, the St. Charles, Ill. native produced an impressive stat line of 10 draw controls, four ground balls, two caused turnovers, and seven points, which landed her as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin defensive player of the week.

Sophomore Lizzie Rymarcsuk (Lake Zurich, Ill.-Saint Viator) has seen the largest bulk of time between the posts for the Green and White, as she enters Friday's contest with 337:03 minutes logged in goal. Over that time, Rymarcsuk has accumulated a 3-4 record, 80 saves, and a .488 save percentage. Her 8.00 saves per game average is fourth-best in the CCIW.

UW-River Falls comes to Tucci off a win over the University of Northwestern Wednesday, March 29, to move its record to 4-3 on the season.

This will be the third time the Titans and Falcons have faced off, with the record sitting at 1-1.
