Women’s Lacrosse Hits the Road for Two-Game Weekend in Wisconsin

Titans to play UW-La Crosse and UW-River Falls

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team hits the road for a two-game weekend at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Saturday-Sunday, March 26-27. The Titans will face La Crosse Saturday March 26 at 1 p.m. before a neutral site game against the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Sunday, March 27 at 2:30 p.m.

The Titans (1-7) are to face UWL (2-1) for the first time in program history and will see River Falls (4-0) for just the second time. Most recently, the Titans met the Falcons last season, March 13, where IWU went on to win 12-8 at home. While UWL awaits the Green and White, the Falcons will play College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe, North Central College, Saturday March 26 before squaring off with the Titans Sunday.

IWU last touched the field at home Monday, March 21 against George Fox University. IWU, who last saw GFU in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, fell 19-3 against the Bruins. With only three games under its belt, La Crosse welcomes IWU after a 19-5 win over Edgewood College, March 23. River Falls has been off to a hot start holding a four-game winning streak.
