BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team welcomes George Fox University Monday, March 21 for a 4 p.m. tilt inside Tucci Stadium. The Titans (1-7) will face the Bruins (7-0) for the second time in program history. 

Freshman Mia Fiandaca (St. Charles, Ill.-S. Charles North) has made an impact on offense for the Green and White. The St. Charles Ill. native sits tied for second in goals with 10 and tallied one assist on the season so far. Most recently, Fiandaca scored a career-high five goals against Occidental March 16 to lead the Titans. 

The last time these two teams met was at the 2021 NCAA Division III Tournament in the regional round May 8. IWU went on to beat the Bruins 13-12 to advance to the sectional game where the Green and White's NCAA run was halted. 

The Titans return to Bloomington after a spring break trip in California March 14-16. IWU dropped both its matches against Claremont Mudd Scripps and Occidental University. George Fox returns to the field after a 17-5 win over Hamline University March 16.
