BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's lacrosse team heads to the west coast for its Spring Break trip to California. The Titans are scheduled to play Claremont Mudd Scripps Monday, March 14 at 7 p.m. PST and Occidental University Wednesday, March 16 at 5 p.m. PST. 

IWU (1-4) will play both Claremont Mudd Scripps (4-1) and Occidental (2-2) for the first time in program history. IWU is also up next on both CMS's and OC's schedules. 

The Titans last played against Aurora University at home Thursday, March 10. The Spartans got an early lead and were able to hold off the Titans for a 10-5 win. Claremont Mudd Scripps last touched the field in a home match against California Lutheran University, where CMS blanked its competition 22-0. 

Occidental, who holds a split record, awaits the Titans in Los Angeles. Occidental will play at home for the first time since its season opener as they last defeated Linfield College, 22-16.
