Troyer Earns CCIW Diver of the Week for the Second Time this Season

Third time in his career to earn the weekly distinction

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Sophomore Jack Troyer (Arlington Heights, Ill.-John Hersey) of the Illinois Wesleyan University men's swimming and diving team was selected as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Diver of the Week, announced Tuesday, Feb. 1. This is his second time this season earning the weekly honor and third in his career.

Troyer competed in a dual meet against Franklin College, Saturday Jan. 29. The sophomore had an impressive showing as he scored a career-best 232.80 on the three-meter platform to earn a second-place finish.

The Arlington Heights, Ill. native also scored a 239.35 in six dives on the one-meter board, the second-highest score of his career.

Illinois Wesleyan will host the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Diving Championship Feb. 12.
