Women’s Soccer Continues Road Trip to Rumble With Loras

IWU is on its fifth straight away game

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team travels to Dubuque, Iowa for its fifth consecutive away game against No. 20 Loras College, Saturday, Sept. 18. The Titans return to the field after a two-game weekend Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 11-12 in La Crosse, Wis. hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where the Titans were 0-2 on the weekend.

The Titans have moved to 1-4 on the season, with their single win being at home in their season opener. The Duhawks who were recently ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Association Top-25 cracked the the list at No. 20, announced Tuesday, Sept. 14 and will welcome the Titans with an overall record of 5-0-1.

IWU and Loras have played each other a total of six times dating back to the 2003 season. The all-time series between the Titans and Duhawks sits at 3-3, as all six-games have resulted in a one goal difference. The last time IWU was in Dubuque, Iowa was during the 2006 non-conference schedule where the Titans won, 1-0.
