BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team (7-2-5, 3-1-1 CCIW) hosts Augustana College (5-6-3, 0-4-1 CCIW) Wednesday, Oct. 21 on Neis Field at 7 p.m. The Titans close out the regular season with three-straight home contests.

The Titans dropped both contests last week to No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis and Carroll. Illinois Wesleyan went to Waukesha, Wis. Saturday, Oct. 17 where the Pios beat them 3-2. CU struck first before senior Ava Mapes (Golden, Colo.-Lakewood) put one on the board for the Green and White. Sophomore Zoe Kormah (Pekin, Ill.-Pekin Community) scored her third goal of the season to cut the deficit 3-2 in the second half. The Titans are set to face Augie, who have yet to win a conference game.

With the final week of the regular season coming to an end, North Central College has clinched its spot in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament with 16 points. Wheaton College and Illinois Wesleyan follow close behind with 11 and 10 points, respectively. If the Titans win out, they can earn a top-two seed in the tournament for the first time since 2022 when IWU earned the No. 1 seed. Illinois Wesleyan has yet to face Wheaton and Millikin.

The Titans hold the all-time series over Augustana 20-10-9 with a 13-3-6 home advantage over the Vikings. The last time the teams met IWU blanked Augie 3-nil at Neis Field in 2025. Illinois Wesleyan has not dropped a home match against Augustana since 2009, when the Titans lost 1-nil. The Vikings are coming off a 4-nil loss to Millikin in Decatur, Ill., but grabbed a non-conference win over Knox College on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The Green and White will kickoff at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21. Live coverage of the event can be accessed here.
