WHEATON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's Swimming and diving team fell short to Wheaton College 104-95, while the men faced a 144-69 loss Saturday, Feb. 13 at Jonathan Lederhouse Natatorium on the campus of Wheaton.Â

Junior
Ellen Gilbert (Northbrook, Ill.-Glenbrook North) recorded her season-best time in the 1000 freestyle touching in at 10:56.63 claiming the individual title for the Titans. Gilbert also clocked in a first-place time in the 100 butterfly (59.26). Freshman
Hannah Murray (West Chicago, Ill.-St. Charles East) put up an individual title win in the 100 free with a time of 55.51. She also beat her season-best time in the 50 free with a second-place finish in 25.67.Â

Sophomore
Lauren Feddersen (Champaign, Ill.-Centennial) took first place in the 200 free against the Thunder with a finish of 2:05.17, while fellow sophomore
Donna Kurek (Roselle, Ill.-Lake Park) came in just behind with a season-best time of 2:05.44. Feddersen also recorded a season-best time in the 100 breaststroke finishing second with a time of 1:09.45, beating out her former time of 1:11.15.Â

In the 100 backstroke two Titans beat out their season best-times, as freshmen
Natalie Wajda (Park Ridge, Ill.-Maine South) Â placed second with a time of 1:00.65 and sophomore
Anna Keebler (Verona, Wis.-Middleton) touched in right behind with a time of 1:05.55.Â

Junior
Megan Wong (Gurnee, Ill.-Warren Township), Feddersen, Gilbert, and Murray also put up a win in the 400 medley relay finishing at 4:05.22.

For the men, junior
Jackson Rapala (Roselle, Ill.-Lake Park) grabbed first place in the 1000 free beating out his season-best time with a finish of 10:34.54. Huntley, Ill. native
Ethan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) notched a season-best with a first place touch in of 21.60 in the 50 free. Freshman
Jake Kalenowski (St. Charles, Ill.-St. Charles North) recorded a second-place finish and season-best time in the 100 free with 51.82, and sophomore
Shannon Pinto (Bloomington, Ill.- Normal Community) followed with a time of 1:55.39, also a new season-best.Â

Jack Troyer swept the diving portion of the competition scoring a total of 195.35 in the three-meter dive while both Troyer and
Jake Harrison (Bloomington, Ill.-University) took the top two spots in the one-meter with scores of 187.55 and 151.55, respectively.Â
