BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swimming and diving teams host North Central College in-person and Millikin University virtually this Saturday Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. at Fort Natatorium. The Titans will be celebrating lone senior, Laurin Ebert (Big Lake, Minn.-Big Lake) Saturday afternoon for Senior Day.

The women's swimming and diving team is undefeated against Millkin since 2009, totaling in an 11-meet win streak against the Big Blue. Last season, IWU topped MU 174-106. IWU's women have also found success against the Cardinals, going 5-0 in duals against NCC since 2014. Most recently, the Titans topped the Cardinals 236-25.

On the women's side, the Titans swept the top three slots in the 1000 freestyle with Donna Kurek (Roselle, Ill.-Lake Park) placing first (11:16.74), followed by Ebert (11:17.17) and Emma Stroh (Normal, Ill.-University High) (11:29.11). Ebert also touched in first-place for the Green and White in the 500 free with a time of 5:36.30. Ellen Gilbert (Northbrook, Ill.-Glenbrook North) clocked in times that won three individual event titles including the 100 butterfly (59.37), 200 fly (2:10.88), and 100 free (55.07). Right behind Gilbert, Megan Wong (Gurnee, Ill.-Warren Township) touched in second in the 100 free (55.81) and claimed first in the 200 free (2:00.13). Lauren Feddersen (Champaign, Ill.-Centennial) also notched two victories for the Titans in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.34) and 200 breast (2:29.73).

On the men's side, the Titans will meet NCC after a 158-48 win against the Cardinals and 124-108 victory against the Big Blue in 2019-20. This will be the sixth dual between NCC and IWU, as the Titans lead the series 5-0 since 2014.
