BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- On Seniors' Day, the Illinois Wesleyan women's lacrosse team posted a 19-0 win over the University of Dubuque at Tucci Stadium on Saturday, April 27, earning a solo College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin championship with the team's school-record 10th straight win.
The Titans improved to 15-2 overall and 7-0 in the CCIW while the Spartans are 1-14 overall and finished 1-6 in the league. Under the direction of head coach
Lindsey Kellar, Illinois Wesleyan has now won two CCIW regular season titles and two CCIW Tournament titles in the five-year history of the program.
No. 1-seeded Illinois Wesleyan will host No. 4 seed Carroll University in a CCIW Tournament semifinal matchup at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1.
