GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's lacrosse team built up a comfortable 10 goal lead by halftime and eased to a 19-5 nonconference win over DePauw University at Reavis Stadium in Greencastle, Ind., on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
The Titans improved to 3-0 this season and the Tigers are now 0-2.
Illinois Wesleyan, who led 12-2 after the first half, got four goals each from freshman midfielder
Bridget O'Malley and sophomore
Riley Rooney while senior
Grainne Kelly added three goals with two assists. Freshman
Landry Elliott also had two assists with a goal.

Sydney MacDonald made five saves in the win as the Titans outshot the Tigers, 26-14, and had 23 shots on goal to six for DePauw. IWU won 16 of the 23 draw controls in the game and had 20 turnovers compared to 21 for the Tigers.
DePauw was led by the three goals from Emma Kennedy.
What's Next?
Illinois Wesleyan plays its first home game of the season next Tuesday, March 5, against Wittenberg University at 7 p.m. at Tucci Stadium.
