Katie North (Aurora, Ill.-Metea Valley) of the Illinois Wesleyan University women's cross country team has been chosen to compete at the 2019 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships Saturday, Nov. 23, at 11:45 a.m. The NCAA's announcement Sunday, Nov. 17 marks the second consecutive season in which a Titan has been tabbed to run a the national meet.
North reeled in All-Midwest Region honors following a 16th-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Winneconne, Wis.
Saturday, Nov. 16, to qualify for the NCAA Championships as an individual. She clocked in a 22:48.1 to climb more than 70 spots in the rankings from her performance at the 2018 regional race.
The Aurora, Ill. native will run as one of 56 individual qualifiers in Louisville, Ky. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Tom Sawyer State Park. The women's race will take place at 11:45 ET and can be followed via live stream or live results by clicking
