NCAA Release

INDIANAPOLIS -
Illinois Wesleyan University women's cross country senior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) was selected to represent IWU at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships for the third straight year as qualifiers were released Sunday, Nov. 16. Race time is set for 11 a.m. ET at Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C. Saturday, Nov. 22.

Crabtree has had a historic senior season thus far, registering four wins, and a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin record five CCIW Runner of the Week honors. She began the season with a win at the Titan Opener followed by a school record time (21:32.3) and victory at the Division I Redbird Invite. Her impressive performance led to a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Athlete of the Week honor - the first Titan to earn the award.

She then went on to win the Spartanburg Pre-National meet at the site of this year's national championship, Sept. 20. At the CCIW Championships, Crabtree broke her own school record and matched a CCIW Championship meet record, running a time of 21:05.1 en route to earning her second career league championship. Most recently, she earned all-region honors at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship with a seventh-place finish, marking the best regional finish in program history.

Crabtree is the first Titan to earn a bid to the NCAA Division III National Championship in three consecutive years. Last season, she turned in a 144th-place finish in the 293-person field in Terre Haute, Ind. while in 2023, running alongside teammate Annalese Chudy, Crabtree finished 105th.

Crabtree is set to represent Illinois Wesleyan on the NCAA stage in Spartanburg, S.C. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Roger Milliken Center. Race time is set for 11 a.m. ET. Live results of the race can be found here
