BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team fell short in non-conference action against Calvin College Friday night, Nov. 15, at the Shirk Center. The Titans could not keep pace with the hot-shooting Knights, falling 89-83.
Illinois Wesleyan shot 42.6 percent from the field, connecting on 29-of-68 attempts, including 7-of-17 from three-point range. Calvin hit 33-of-55 attempts from the floor (60 percent), and 10-of-16 triples. IWU turned Calvin over 14 times, aided by five steals, while committing just 11 turnovers itself.Â

Keondre Schumacher (Bloomington, Ill.-University HS) led the Titans with 24 points, while juniors
Grant Wolfe (Dieterich, Ill.-Effingham) and
Charlie Bair (Glen Ellyn, Ill.-Glenbard East) contributed 19 and 10 points, respectively. Bair also grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.Â
A quick turnaround pits the Titans against Alma College tomorrow, Nov. 16, at 4:30 p.m.
