COLFAX, Wis. -- Led by a 15th place finish from senior
Jillian Cole, the Illinois Wesleyan women's cross country team placed 13th (of 36) in the NCAA Division III Midwest Regionals, hosted by Wis.-Eau Claire at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 10.
Cole had a time of 22:24.2 on the 6,000-meter course and her 15th place finish is almost certainly good enough to earn a place in the NCAA Division III Championships next Saturday (Nov. 17) at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wis. The announcement of national competitors will be made on Sunday, Nov. 11 on

Jenna Mirande earned a 64th place finish with her time of 23:36.2 and junior
Rachel Schoenecker was 79th in a time of 23:55.0.
No. 2-nationally ranked Washington U. won the regional title, finishing with 58 points. Wis.-Eau Claire was second with 93 points. Hannah Roeske of Wheaton was the winner with a time of 21:21.8 and Paige Lawler of WashU was second in 21:23.2.
