IWU at Rose-Hulman, Dual Meet Results
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Freshman
Lucy Saucedo and sophomore
Annie Meyers each won three events as the Illinois Wesleyan women's and men's swimming and diving teams competed against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at the Sports & Recreation Center Natatorium in Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday, Jan. 13.
The Illinois Wesleyan women were 153-117 winners in the dual meet while the men were defeated, 228-55.
Saucedo won the 200 freestyle (2:01.13), 50 freestyle (25.48) and 100 freestyle (55.48) while Meyers touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly (2:18.25), 100 butterfly (1:02.62) and 400 individual medley (4:58.24).
Sophomore
Alivia Hay was a double winner, taking the 100 backstroke (1:02.72) and 500 freestyle (5:35.26) while junior
Claire Michael won the 100 breaststroke (1:12.79) and senior
Tori Tiberi won the 1000 freestyle (11:15.51).
For the IWU men, junior
Rob Houle was the winner of the 50 freestyle (22.25) and sophomore
Will Garcia claimed the 500 freestyle event (4:57.05).
What's Next?
Illinois Wesleyan's next action will be on Friday, Jan. 26, with a home double-dual against Millikin and North Central.
