BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's lacrosse team fell behind 4-1 in the first nine minutes before rallying for a 9-6 win over Concordia (Wis.) at Tucci Stadium on Wednesday, March 22.
The Titans evened their record at 4-4 while the Falcons slipped to 3-4.
Illinois Wesleyan had a 27-18 advantage in shots and took 22 shots on goal compared to 11 for the Falcons. Senior

Concordia won nine draw controls to eight for IWU and the Falcons were guilty of 29 turnovers to 22 IWU miscues.

Claire Quist made five saves as the Titans' goalkeeper. Led by five from Kelly and junior
Mariah Smith, IWU had 23 ground balls compared to 17 for Concordia.
Lauren Paquin had three goals and Allison Kurek had two goals with two assists to lead Concordia.

Illinois Wesleyan has another home game on Saturday, March 25, when they host Adrian College (Mich.) at 3 p.m. at Tucci Stadium.
