Titan Swim Teams Meet Carthage, Illinois Tech

IWU vs. Carthage, Illinois Tech Results

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's swimming and diving teams faced off against Carthage and Illinois Tech in a triangular meet at Fort Natatorium on Saturday, Nov. 11.

The IWU men lost to Illinois Tech, 182-76, and to Carthage, 237-53 while the Illinois Wesleyan women defeated Illinois Tech, 151.50-128.50, and lost to Carthage 193-93.

Junior Sam Gabriel of Carthage set a new Fort Natatorium pool record in the 200 yard backstroke with his winning time of 1:55.36 and Illinois Wesleyan's Tori Tiberi won the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:11.11 on 11/11.
