BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The No. 13-ranked Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team needed only three sets to vanquish Coe College, 25-20, 25-20, 25-18, at the Barker Classic III in the Shirk Center on Friday, Oct. 27.
Illinois Wesleyan improved to 19-6 and the Kohawks slipped to 12-15.
The Titans were led by the 14 blocks by senior
Kyleigh Block, who also had a team-high 12 digs. Junior
Tyler Brown had 10 kills and 11 digs as the Titans hit .333 for the match with 45 kills in 108 attempts with only nine errors.
Sophomore
Kira Jackson with 19 and freshman
Caitlin Meyer with 15 paced the Titans in set assists with junior
Heidi Dague making five total blocks, including one solo.
Lindsey Koch had 13 kills to lead Coe as they hit .200 for the three-set match (39 kills, 110 tries, 17 errors). Ali Arns had a team-high 17 digs and Aryn Meisinger had a match-high 35 set assists.

The Titans play Lincoln Christian at 10 a.m. and Central College at 2 p.m. as play in the
Barker Classic III continues.
