OSHKOSH, Wis. -- In a five set thriller, the No. 18-ranked Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team topped No. 22 Texas-Dallas in the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Women's Volleyball Invitational on Friday, Oct. 20.

The Titans improved to 16-6, winning by scores of 20-25, 30-28, 21-25, 25-21, 17-15, while the Comets lost their second straight game and fell to 18-6.

Kyleigh Block led IWU with 18 kills with juniors

Anne Cummings (11) contributing double-digit kills totals. The Titans racked up 67 total kills in 189 attempts, hitting .180 for the match with 33 errors.
Brown had a team-high 20 defensive digs with freshman
Caitlin Meyer getting 12 and Block had 10 along with four total blocks. Junior
Maddie Williams also had four total blocks and junior
Heidi Dague had three. Sophomore
Kira Jackson had 35 assists and Meyer provided 27.
For the University of Texas-Dallas, Alana Geymer made 20 kills and had a match-high .421 hitting percentage as her team hit .186 with 57 kills and 25 errors in 172 attempts.

Illinois Wesleyan plays No. 7-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, then meets Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 3:30 p.m. on the second day of the Oshkosh Invitational.
