BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The No. 12 Illinois Wesleyan volleyball suffered a four-set loss to Carthage in the Homecoming game at the Shirk Center on Friday, Oct. 13. The Titans lost by scores of 22-25, 24-26, 25-17, 17-25.
IWU is now 14-6 overall and 4-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while Carthage improved to 14-5 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
Junior
Tyler Brown had 16 kills and 25 digs to pace the Titans while junior
Rachel Burkman had 15 kills and 12 digs and senior
Anne Cummings added eight kills.
Senior
Kyleigh Block led IWU with four blocks and had 12 digs with junior
Maddie Williams getting three total blocks and senior
Maisy Bowden adding two.
Sophomore
Kira Jackson had 25 set assists and freshman
Caitlin Meyer made 19 helpers.
