MOLINE, Ill. -- Despite a win from senior George Alex at No. 1 singles, the Illinois Wesleyan men's tennis team lost an 8-1 decision to No. 19-regionally ranked Augustana College on Wednesday, April 27, at the Quad City Tennis Club in Moline, Ill.

Illinois Wesleyan is 0-13 this seaon and 0-4 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and Augustana improved to 13-10 this year and 4-2 in the CCIW.

Alex now has a career singles record of 34-30 and his win total is tied for 23rd most in singles at Illinois Wesleyan.
