BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's lacrosse team held Calvin College scoreless for the final 7:13 of the game to hold on and defeat the Knights by a score of 8-7 at Tucci Stadium in Bloomington, Ill. on Saturday, April 2.

IWU closed out nonconference play with a 10-1 record while Calvin slipped to 3-4 overall.

In the second half, Illinois Wesleyan took a 6-5 lead with 18:47 to go and regained the lead with 11:22 left in the game. Holding a two goal lead with 7:46 remaining, Calvin scored at 7:13 left in the second half, but could not find an equalizer to send the game to overtime.
