ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's lacrosse team remained undefeated after a big second half propelled the Titans to a 12-8 win at Adrian College on Sunday, March 6, in Adrian, Mich.
The Titans improved to 4-0 with their second road win of the year and the Bulldogs slipped to 0-3.
Sophomore

Sam Bidlack all scored two goals for Illinois Wesleyan while sophomore
Abby Kushina, freshman
Sara Dust, junior
Maggie Krause and senior
Lauren Pavich each accounted for one goal.
The Titans trailed 4-0 with 18:02 before halftime but battled back to get within two, down 6-4 at intermission. IWU outscored Adrian 8-2 in the final half and scored five of the final six goals in the game after the score was tied 7-7 with 12:12 remaining. Krause, Engelbreit and Kelly had goals in a 2:38 stretch to stake the Titans to a 10-7 lead and Engelbriet and Bidlack added the finishing touches with goals in the last five minutes.
Pavich had two assists with Kelly and Rich each having one in the game.
Sophomore
Claire Quist made five saves in recording the goalkeeping win. The Titans outshot Adrian 31-15 and had 21 shots on goal compared to 13 for the Bulldogs. IWU collected 44 ground balls to 26 for the home team.
What's Next?Illinois Wesleyan opens their spring trip with a game at Lynchburg (Va.) College at 4 p.m. (Eastern time) on Saturday, March 12.
