Complete Results, 2016 A3 Carthage Classic
KENOSHA, Wis. -- Illinois Wesleyan senior
Meg Stanley won the 200 and 500 freestyle events as the Titan men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed in the A3 Carthage Classic at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wis., on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The IWU women finished third in the eight-team meet, amassing 814 total points and finishing behind Carthage College with 1,898.50 and Albion College with 1,111
The Illinois Wesleyan University men's team was fourth in their eight-team meet, scoring 488 points. Carthage College won the men's meet with 1,776.50 points, followed by Albion College [1,516.50] and Lake Forest College [701].
Stanley had a time of 1:57.42 to win the 200 free, followed by a second place finish by sophomore teammate
Claire Michael in 1:59.55. Stanley's time of 5:09.31 earned her first place in the 500 free.

Lisa Cheng placed third in the 50 freestyle with her time of 24.55 seconds and the 400 free relay team of Cheng, freshman
Alivia Hay, Michael and Stanley got third [3:40.49].

Andrew Younger had IWU's best men's finish with a fourth place time of 1:44.48.
Senior
Alex Guess was fifth in the 1-meter diving [373.15 points} and sixth in the 3-meter diving [377.0 points].
What's Next?
The IWU men's next competition will be Friday, Jan. 13 at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind., and the men and women will swim against Rose-Hulman on Saturday, Jan. 14 at IWU's Fort Natatorium.
