2016 IWU, IIT, Carthage Results

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's team defeated Illinois Institute of Technology, 157-142, and the men's team lost to IIT, 200-97 in a double dual meet at IIT's Ekco Pool on Saturday, Nov. 12. The Carthage women defeated IWU, 187-112, while the Red Men downed IWU, 228-72.

Senior Meg Stanley was a two-event winner for the Illinois Wesleyan women, taking first in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:42.56 and first in the 500 yard freestyle in 5:09.88,

Other women's winners were junior Baylee Hoecker in the 100 yard backstroke (1:02.46) and sophomore Claire Michael in the 100 yard freestyle (54.68).

For the men, senior Ryan O'Toole was the winner of the 1000 yard freestyle (10:19.18) and senior Alex Guess claimed the 1-meter diving with 164.75 points for six dives.
