Barker I Tournament Web SiteBLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team improved to 3-2 with a three-set win over Transylvania in the home opener at the Barker ! Tournament at the Shirk Center on Friday, Sept. 11.
The Titans play Ohio Northern at 10 a.m. and Coe at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Illinois Wesleyan was led in kills by freshman
Tyler Brown with 15 in 24 attempts for a .583 attack mark. Sophomore
Kyleigh Block added nine and sophomore
Maisy Bowden had eight.
Bowden had four blocks and sophomore
Anne Cummings had three while junior
Colleen Rynne paced IWU with 23 assists and freshman
Leah Seielstad contributed 17.
Senior
Mary Rankin had 21 defensive digs in the win.
