Titans Can't Overcome Early Deficit in 11-5 Loss

ELMHURST, Ill. -- The Illinois Wesleyan women's lacrosse team fell behind 10-1 in the first half and lost by an 11-5 score at Elmhurst on Wednesday, April 22.

The loss sends the Titans' overall record to 6-9 and 1-4 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin while the Bluejays improved to 8-7 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

IWU's Abby Kushina scored four goals while freshman Maisie Cox added one and junior Lauren Pavich had Illinois Wesleyan's only assist.

Freshman Claire Quist made 16 saves in the 30 shots she faced.

What's Next?
Illinois Wesleyan closes out its regular season home schedule with a 2 p.m. game on Saturday, April 25, against the University of Dubuque at Tucci Stadium.
