UW-Oshkosh Women's Volleyball Invitational WebsiteOSHKOSH, Wis. -- The Illinois Wesleyan volleyball team had its seven-match winning streak snapped in a five-set loss at No. 19-ranked Wis.-Oshkosh in the Wis.-Oshkosh Invitational on Friday, Oct. 16.
The IWU Titans, now 17-5 overall, lost by scores of 25-21, 16-25, 26-24, 15-25, 15-12. The Wis.-Oshkosh Titans improved to 18-5 with their fourth straight victory.
Freshman
Tyler Brown had 25 kills to lead the Titans, the second-most kills in a five-set match in IWU history. The record is 27 by Alex Hill against Millikin on Oct. 24, 2012.

Rachel Burkman had 15 kills and sophomore
Kyleigh Block added 14 kills and made a team-high 21 defensive digs. Senior
Mary Rankin had 20 digs.

Leah Seielstad had 39 and 28 assists, respectively.
As a team, IWU had 76 kills with 27 errors in 188 attacks for a .261 hitting mark while the other Titans had a hitting percentage of .232 with 53 kills and 17 errors in 155 total attacks.
What's Next?Illinois Wesleyan continues play in the seven-team Wis.-Oshkosh Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17, facing Martin Luther College (4-20) at 10 a.m. and No. 12-nationally ranked Wis.-Whitewater (19-3) at 12 p.m.
