Titans Get 80-62 Home Win Over Lynx

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball had four players in double figure scoring and sophomore Alina Lehocky had a "double-double" with 10 points and 13 rebounds in an 80-62 win over Lindenwood-Belleville at the Shirk Center on Monday, Dec. 15.

With their first home court win of the season, Illinois Wesleyan improves to 5-3 on the season while the Lynx remain 3-6 as the NAIA entry considered this an exhibition game. 

The Titans and Lynx were tied at 4-4 before IWU assumed control for the remainder of the contest, leading by as many as 22 points late. IWU held a 47-40 rebounding edge in the game and scraped off 14 on the offensive end that led to 19 second chance points.

Illinois Wesleyan, who led by 10 at 45-35 at halftime, was guilty of only 14 turnovers while forcing Lindenwood into 24.
