BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – In a physical battle between the Illinois Wesleyan and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer teams, the Warhawks came out victorious, 1-0, at Neis Field Wednesday (Oct. 9) night.
The Titans now sport a record of 7-5-1, while UW-Whitewater won their third straight match and is 11-2-0. The Warhawks received votes in the D3soccer.com week six poll (Oct. 8).

Nine Titan players contributed to 11 shots and five total shots-on-goal, while the Warhawks had 13 shots to six shots-on-goal.
Reed had five saves in his 90-minutes in the goal, while UWW's Josh Rohde also saved five shots.
The Titans will return to the pitch on Saturday (Oct. 12) when they host Augustana for the Homecoming game. The match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
