TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's swimming and diving team lost by a narrow 143-136 score in a dual meet at Rose-Hulman on Saturday, Oct. 29.
The Titans had three double-event winners: senior
Mikey Firth in the 100 backstroke (52.04) and 200 backstroke (1:57.84); senior
Sam Mitchell in the 50 freestyle (23.52 seconds) and 500 free (5:10.96); and freshman
Nathan Douglas in both the 1-meter (143.25) and 3-meter diving (149.80).
Other IWU individual winners were sophomore
Kevin Skrabacz in the 1000 freestyle (10:54.83), junior
Brent Caras in the 200 freestyle (1:49.74), and sophomore
Marcus Duval in the 200 individual medley (2:02.60).
