Jared Jenkins had 15 points and Jerrel Harris scored 14. Louis Hurd had 12 and Matt Moses scored 11.
The game started as a back-and-forth battle and no team was able to gain more than a two-point lead in the first 8:06 of the contest. Hurd hit a jumper to ignite an 8-2 Pointer run which was capped off by a two-handed dunk from Scott Hoelzel.

After Johnson's flurry of 3-point baskets, Moses hit a jumper to put the Pointers up 52-41 with 11:07 remaining. The Pointers defense held strong and a layup by Rosenkranz brought the Titans within 11 with 5:41, the closest they would come the rest of the game.
The Pointers made six of their eight free throws in the final 3:09 to preserve their lead and land them a spot in the championship round Friday in Salem, Va., against Randolph Macon.
