BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team celebrated another successful season Sunday, April 19, as Ron Rose doled out team awards at the end of season banquet. Noah Cleveland (Normal, Ill.-Normal Community) was voted the team's Most Valuable Player, while a total of 12 Titans earned letters.

Seniors Karlo Colak (Glencoe, Ill.-New Trier) and Nathan Boldt (Deer Park, Ill.-Barrington) captained the Titans to the program's best season since 2022. IWU posted a 26-5 overall record and won the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season and tournament titles in the same year for the first time in program history. The Green and White's season ended in the Elite Eight, its deepest postseason run since 2022, and with a No. 7 national ranking.

Cleveland put together a phenomenal season for the Titans as the rookie led the team in both scoring (18.8 ppg) and rebounding (11.3 rpg). He was named D3hoops.com First Team All-America, NABC First Team All-America, D3hoops.com First Team All-Region 8, the D3hoops.com Region 8 Rookie of the Year, a unanimous and a First Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin selection. Cleveland made history as the league's first student-athlete to sweep the CCIW Most Outstanding Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year awards in the same season. His five CCIW Player of the Week awards set a new program record and were the most by an individual in a single season across the league since 2018. Cleveland shot 59.6 percent from the field and added 53 assists, 49 blocks, and 45 steals. He scored in double figures in 23 of 27 contests with 11 games of 20+ points. The sophomore secured 16 double-doubles, good for sixth-most across Division III.

In all, Rose awarded letters to 12 student-athletes, seven of which are set to return in 2026-27.
