CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's tennis team opened its 2010 dual meet season with wins over Wabash and Marian (Ind.) on Feb. 27.

The Titans defeated Wabash, 6-3, before downing Marian on a neutral court, 7-2.

Brian Piotrowski at No. 1 singles, #Tom Deschler# at No. 2, Nick Kenaga at No. 3 and Michael Christison at No. 4 were all winners of both their singles matches and the team of Deschler and Pitorowski (No. 1) and Christison and Kenaga (No. 2) were winners in their pair of doubles encounters.

"This is a good start for us," said IWU coach Jason VanHeuklon. "Wabash has already played Augustana and Elmhurst from our conference, so it was a decent measuring stick as to where we are."
