Jason Van Heuklon is an assistant women's tennis coach at Illinois Wesleyan.

He was named the Illinois Wesleyan men's tennis head coach from May 2006 to June 2014.  In seven seasons as the Titans’ coach, his teams had an overall record of 65-80 (.448 winning percentage) and a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin record of 12-23 (.343).

His 2012-13 and 2011-12 teams both finished with seven wins and were 1-4 in the league, good for a fifth place CCIW standing.

In 2010-11, Van Heuklon helped the Titans to 14 victories, and coached first team all-CCIW Brian Piotrowski, who earned the honor for three seasons in a row. Piotrowski paired with Brian Sorich to also earn Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American status for their play as a doubles team.

His 2009-10 team had a 15-8 dual match record and the 15 wins tied for second most in a single season for an IWU men's tennis team, behind only the 2004 squad (20-5) and tied with the 1997 team (15-5).

A tennis player for more than 25 years, Van Heuklon is very active in the Bloomington-Normal tennis community.

A graduate of Macomb, Ill., High School, Van Heuklon played collegiately at Illinois State University, where he received his bachelor's degree in physical education in 1997 and his master's degree in sports administration in 2002.

His previous coaching experience includes one year as an assistant coach at Morton, Ill., High School and three years (2004-06) teaching the junior program at Bloomington's Evergreen Racquet Club.

Van Heuklon and his wife, Rachael (a former member of the Illinois State gymnastics team), were married in 2001 and are the parents of Katie (born in January 2006).
