Cameron Barnish were named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) "Swimmers of the Week" on Tuesday, November 16.
Egan (Oak Lawn, Ill., HS) achieved personal best times in the 200 breaststroke and the 200 IM during a 154-137 dual meet loss to Carthage on Saturday, November 13.
She placed first in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:40.78, which was two seconds faster than her previous best. In the 200 IM, she placed third with a time 2:20.41 which was a four second time drop. She was also a member of the second place 200 medley relay team and placed second in the 100 breaststroke.
A business/marketing major at Illinois Wesleyan, Egan is the daughter of James and Mary Egan of Oak Lawn.
Barnish (Downers Grove, Ill., South HS) achieved an untapered best 100 freestyle split in the 400 freestyle relay during a 177.5-78.5 dual meet loss to Carthage Saturday.
He split a time 50.77, topping his previous best time of 51.70. His 50 breaststroke split was also 0.5 seconds faster than last year at this point in the season. The Titans took first in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:24.24.
An elementary education major at Illinois Wesleyan, Barnish is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Barnish of Downers Grove.
