Box Score Illinois Wesleyan 75, Millikin 71 - Box Score, Jan. 13

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Junior Travis Rosenkranz had 15 points to lead five players in double figure scoring as the Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team held on to beat Millikin, 75-71, at the Shirk Center on Jan. 13.

Junior Sean Johnson and sophomore Jordan Zimmer each had 14 points as the Titans improved to 12-2 overall and 3-0 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, while junior Doug Sexauer and senior Sean Dwyer each netted 10.

The Titans, who shot 52 percent from the floor (30 of 58), got eight rebounds from Zimmer and the Titans outrebounded Millikin, 30-26. Millikin also committed 15 turnovers compared to 10 for the Titans.

Millikin fell to 6-8 overall and 1-2 in the league. The Big Blue, who shot 54 percent for the game (28 of 52), were led by the 21-point effort of freshman Colby Long, who came into the game averaging 4.0 points per game in his four games at Millikiin. Long made all five of his 3-point tries as the Big Blue made seven of 10.
