The Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's swim teams lost in a dual meet to DePauw on Saturday, Jan. 24 at IWU's Fort Natatorium.

The women lost by a count of 158.5-137.5 while the men fell by a score of 160-110. Despite multiple wins by Angela Lugg (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle), Andrea Peterson (100 backstroke, 200 backstroke)and Meg Calabrese (3-meter diving, 1-meter diving).

Mike Firth (100 backstroke, 200 backstroke), Mike Kozak (200 butterfly, 100 butterfly) and Chris Betzle (500 freestyle, 400 individual medley) were multiple winners for the men's team.

The Wesleyan swimmers compete next at home on Feb. 7 against North Central and Wheaton in a double dual.
