Illinois Wesleyan senior Brady Zimmer was selected to the 2013 National Association of Basketball Coaches "Honors Court" for academic excellence. At Del;avan High School he was a first team all-stater and holds the school's records for season scoring (907), single game scoring (46), and career scoring (2,048).
Majoring in business administration (finance) at Illinois Wesleyan, he comes from a very IWU family - his brother Jordan is a former Titan basketball player and is the school's all-time leader in 3-point field goals made; his father (Doug), uncle (Ron) and grandfather (Duane Sampen) all were athletes at Illinois Wesleyan; Doug was once IWU record holder in 400 and was track MVP for three years in the 1980s' Brady's sister Maddison is a member of the IWU women's track team.
