Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: It was April of my senior year and IWU had a great reputation both academically and athletically, so I went for it.

IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: Behavioral Neuroscience

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Accepting the judgment when I use the elevator at CLA after practice, three flights of stairs just isn’t happening

Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? Human Anatomy. Enough said.

I’m deathly afraid of ...: Cockroaches

Worst habit: Procrastination or being indecisive, I’m not sure which one

Most expensive traffic ticket: Never had one

Language I’d like to learn: Spanish, six years of it apparently didn’t work

The longest I could survive without my cell phone: A week tops, gotta play that Candy Crush

One word your mother or father would use to describe you: They say “responsible”, I say “if you say so”

Favorite sports figures: Missy Franklin and Yadier Molina

My greatest moment in sports was: Winning the National Championship sophomore year

The best player I ever faced was: One of the giant girls at DePaul

Worst dresser on my team: Well Kasey Reaber still wears Crocs, does that count?

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Girl Scout cookies from last year, I can’t bring myself to throw them away #samoasforlife

Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Jennifer Lawrence

Favorite food: Breakfast

Vegetable I won’t eat: Peas

Pepsi or Coke? Pepsi. But Dr. Pepper always wins

Favorite TV show: "Grey’s Anatomy", "Parks and Recreation", "Family Guy", and "Chopped"

Favorite musical group: Too many favorites but Chris Brown would be number one

Favorite movies: The Harry Potter series, "Hairspray", Disney animations, and "The Hunger Games" series

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: Jennifer Lawrence, because she’s awesome

If my life were on TV as a reality show, I’d call it: “Life of Shelby: Eat, Sleep, and Probably Eat Again”

The person in history I would most like to meet is: Dr. Seuss

My dream job would be: Actually getting a job, preferably getting paid to try different foods while traveling all around the world

Place I’d most like to live: Anywhere warm

Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Explore Europe and go snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef

My possession that would fetch the most on eBay:  My car ... who wouldn’t want a 2001 Chevy Malibu??

Who is the luckiest person in the world? The person who knows who they truly are and loves what they do

What I miss most about being in the third grade: Actually wanting to run, voluntarily, for fun…
