Illinois Wesleyan senior men's soccer player and team captain Declan Geraghty started the 2013 season ranked No. 11 all-time at IWU with 1.18 shots per game and his 1.94 shots per game in 2012 was the 11th best in an IWU single season.
He has been a first team defensive selection to the all-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin squads for three seasons  and has been the Titans' "Most Valuable Defensive Player" as a sophomore and junior. Also as a junior he was named to the third team of the men's soccer all-Central Region squad.
Majoring in psychology (pre-physical therapy) at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Karla and Gerry Geraghty.
